Question 7: How long will it take to prepare to enter year 1?
Answer: Depends upon the individual. The longer you have to study the better prepared you will be... it is NOT recommended to take Year 1 unless you have completed the readings and palate mapping.
Question 8: I'm excited to get started... How do I proceed?
Answer: Excellent! Please email the coordinator with your interest in beginning the program. He will contact you with the proper course materials and entrance exam. Once the exam is graded (and you have received a passing grade) you will be confirmed for the class or placed on a WAITING LIST. We understand that the commitment is a challenge and takes a while to "wrap your head" around. Especially since the training happens at the National Conference. We can ONLY provide space for the first 18 PAID participants. Preferential treatment is given to students who have already taken Year 1 (but did not pass).
Question 9: Do you have any advice for improving the chances I will pass Year 1?
Answer: Depends upon the individual. Read, Read Read! TASTE, TASTE and TASTE! Judge whenever you can. If possible find a mentor in your area who has graduated. If there is no one in your area... we will point you towards our On-Line Study Group.
